Zabatt is the Master Distributor for Gardner Denver, EndurAir rotary screw compressors. EndurAir Series, 5-20 HP rotary screw compressors are equipped with quality components such as high efficiency airend, low noise enclosure, microprocessor and optional air dryer.

Serviceability
Gardner Denver EndurAir was designed to have multiple service points that are readily available. The one-piece removal side and rear panels allow for easy access to critical access points.

Premium Features

Airend
The EndurAir airend comes with a standard 2 year warranty. Performing the schedule maintenance and using Gardner Denver OEM parts will extend the warranty to 5 years.

Motor
Gardner Denver EndurAir has a TEFC motor to insure the long life of the motor and work in the most extreme applications.

Microprocessor
Garnder Denver Enudair has a AirPlus microprocessor to monitors the number of hours to the next required service, optimizing running efficiency, and alarm/shutdowns. In addition, the microprocessor is placed in an IP54 enclosure.

Drive Assembly
Motor is connected to the compressor by a V-belt. The motor and compressor are mounted to a rigid steel based using elastomer vibration isolators. Proper belt tension is achieved by having an easily adjustable, vertical sliding compressor bedplate.

Low Sound
EndurAir Series are quite compressors that operate within 69 to 74 dBA. The low sound design eliminates the need for locating the air compressor in separate mechanical room. Moreover, having the compressor within close vicinity will reduce the cost and time of installation.

Integrated Packaged Features
Gardner Denver EndurAir offers an integral package that includes the compressor, dryer, filters and air dryer, receiver, and 3 valve dryer bypass. Having a fully integrated package will reduce the cost of installation and premium floor space.

Integra is well equipped with quality components such as high efficiency airend, low noise enclosure, and microprocessor.

Serviceability
Gardner Denver Integra was designed to have multiple service points that are readily available. The one-piece removal side and rear panels allow for easy access to critical access points.

A cycling dryer has the ability to turn the refrigeration compressor off to match the inlet capacity. Due to the thermal mass circuit, a cycling dryer is able to cycle off and on. The thermal mass circuit is a reservoir, pump and additional heat exchanger filled with a water/glycol mixture. This thermal mass circuit acts as a buffer and stores the thermal heat energy until the refrigeration compressor needs to turn on to cool the circuit down.

Microprocessor

Drive Assembly
Motor is connected to the compressor by a V-belt. The motor and compressor are mounted to a ridged based using elastomer vibration isolators between base and enclosure. There is an adjustable motor mounting plate for easy belt adjustment.

Low Sound
Integra Series are quite compressors that operate within 68 to 75 dB. The low sound design eliminates the need for locating the air compressor in separate mechanical room. Moreover, having the compressor within close vicinity will reduce the cost and time of installation.

Gardner Denver Electra-Saver II uses large profile and low speed 1800 rpm airends. Other compressor manufacturers use smaller airends and have speeds up to 3,300 rpm. The simple reason why the smaller high speed airends are used is production costs. The advantage of a slower turning airends is it lasts longer than its high-speed counterpart. It's the reason that special formulations of oil were developed in recent decades to handle high-speed engines. Higher speed cases more heat and more thermal expansion, which results in a greater risk of wear and failure.

Motor
Gardner Denver Electra Saver II motor comes with a 5-year standard warranty. Gardner provides ODP, ODP Premium Efficiency, TEFC, and TEFC Premium Efficiency. Having a choice eliminates paying for an option you don't require.

Heat Exchangers
Gardner Denver Electra-Saver II heat exchanges are sized for operation in 115 degree Fahrenheit ambient while delivering air to within 15 degree Fahrenheit of the inlet temperature. Moreover, the Electra-Saver II has the option of having external heat exchange that can be placed outside of the mechanical room. This eliminates mechanical heat that allows the compressor to run cooler and increases the energy efficiency of the compressor.

The Electra-Saver Variable Displacement compressor is a capacity control system. The Kypho rotor design, coupled with Turn Valve technology can reduce energy costs as much as 35%. The turn-valve technology automatically compresses exactly the right amount of flow and pressure required, assuring maximum efficiency and energy savings.

Variable Speed versus Variable Displacement
Variable Speed Drive compressors are usually considered for applications where air demand can vary. However, manufacturers of variable speed drive compressors do not recommend installing/operating the compressor outside where it can be exposed to the elements or in highly aggressive/dust environments. These conditions can shorten the life of the drive and in most cases will void the warranty. Variable speed drive compressors have a better part load efficiency below 50%. However, In tropical environments where the variable speed drive compressor operates less than 40% of full load the majority of the time, premature airend failure can occur. Failure occurs because the compressor is not achieving optimum operating temperature in which the oil/water is properly separated before it is injected back into the airend for proper lubrication. Variable Speed Drive Compressors can also cause harmonic distortion in the plants electrical grid. An EMI filter will need to be required and in some cases approved by the local power utility. In addition, a line reactor may need to be installed to protect the drive and motor from electrical impedance. A Variable Displacement compressor can operate in the most extreme industrial environments. No special requirements or added devices are required for installation.
